Our Story

Destiny & Fate~

This journey began at J.A. Fair High School, where two indviduals slightly shared words from time to time. They would always greet one another with a smile and a grin. He admired her gorgeous smile and and beautiful eyes; little did she know he had HIS wondering eyes on HER! Secretely, he had a high school crush or shall it be said his "eye-candy." As time progressed the crush remained only a crush, as no action was taken. Within a blink of their eyes, it became time to move to the next level. Graduation took place, and a new chapter of life began; called "college." While he left the state to attend college on a different path, she remained home to begin her college career. During their time apart, new experiences occurred, many relationships were developed and many were destroyed. God works in mysterious ways and you never know just were you will end up. The young man never imagined returning home after only after one year, and the young woman never imagined running into him again. Destiny started to settle in as the two became positioned as soulmates on the same campus at the same time. Much like in high school, they began smiling, grinning, and admiring one another as they slowly walked past one another on campus. He was always a gentlemen, and even drove her to her vehicle once to keep her from walking a long distance after class. By this time they both had experienced a number of struggling relationships and they began to mature. On August 24, 2007, he enjoyed his time with friends and family; all while in the mist of enjoying life as a successful, ambitious, determined and SINGLE young man. On that very night, she was also enjoying herself; all while in the mist of being successful, ambitious, focused and SINGLE young woman. The night faded, as the a.m. hours drew near. It was roughly 2am when the two decided to grab a late night snack at a little diner by the name of "Denny's." The young man, looked across the restaurant and there she was. The same attractive young woman, he once new back in high school, and once knew in college. Without hesistation, he began to speak his mind to her; expressing his deepest thoughts from the past. Surprised she was in ahh!! Again, within a blink of an eye, they began a never-ending friendship, which led to a relationship, which led to a shared relationship in Christ, which led to support from friends & family, which finally led to the kneeling down of one knee on July 10, 2009.
